A great grab 'n' go option for your foodservice guests, the walking taco keeps all its fresh, delicious ingredients in a warm, convenient tortilla boat.

  • 1/4 c seasoned black beans, drained
  • 2 Tbsp guacamole
  • 2 Tbsp tomato salsa
  • 1 Tbsp iceberg lettuce, shredded
  • 1 soft taco boat, warmed
  • 1 Davidson's Safest Choice® pasteurized shell egg(s)


  1. Mash half the drained black beans, then mix with remaining black beans and heat.
  2. Layer black bean mixture, guacamole, salsa, and lettuce in the taco boat.
  3. Poach egg and place on top of taco.


Garnish with minced cilantro, sour cream, shredded cheese, sliced jalapeƱos, roasted chili peppers, and corn.
